Nokia 5310: Music At Its Best

Finally, a music phone from Nokia that would take Sony Ericsson a run for their money. Released right after the 6500, the Nokia 5310 proove to be a worthy competitor not only in the music-type phone competition but also in the slimming contest.

Nokia 5310: Music At Its Best

The Nokia 5310 has three buttons on the left side of the phone that is used for the music player application. These include the play/pause, skip forward and skip backwards as well as a volume control on the right side. The phone supports MP3, MP4, AAC, and WMA types of music files. The FM application comes in with the whole package.

While the Nokia 5310 focuses on the emphasis on music, it does not let the other feature be a mess. The phone book holds about 2,000 contacts which makes room for several phone numbers, e-mail address, birthday, street address, and even for notes on one and every single contact.

Although the Nokia 5310 is an ocean away from the major touchscreen, high-end, sophisticated phones of the future, it still has the basics that every user needs which includes a voice recorder, a world clock, a unit converter, and instant messaging is included even. Email will not pose an issue but only for POP3 accounts like Yahoo! and AOL as long as you are able to access the web browser. We cannot promise innovation with the Nokia 5310 but we will never try to underestimate this one!
